Catalogue: Financial Papers and a little plea!

The final catalogue and my MRes dissertation had to be submitted before the end of March which meant that the last month flew by in a blur of corrections, references and re-writes! I’m pleased to say that the job got done though, and below you will find the next instalment of the Penrhyn Castle Papers Catalogue.

But first a little request for help. As you may or may not be aware, the year allocated to the project was not long enough to get the entire Penrhyn Castle Papers Archive collection catalogued, and the University Archives are currently putting together an application for funding to extend the project. If you have in any way found the project interesting, anticipate using the collection when catalogues are compiled, or simply feel that the collection is important enough to warrant being catalogued, would you please consider writing a letter of support for the archives? It would need to be received by the assistant archivist (Elen Wyn Simpson) before mid-April to be included in the application, and can be sent either via email (e.w.simpson@bangor.ac.uk) or via post (Bangor University Archive, Bangor University, College Road, Bangor. LL57 2DG. Any support would be much appreciated!

So, back to the catalogue. Here is the Financial Papers Section”
