From this letter, our landscape grew

Still spending time away from the documents doing coursework.  So here is another interesting letter for you to look at in my absence. 🙂

This is the letter that suggests Richard Pennant build a horse drawn tramway from Quarry to Port – the key to Penrhyn success.  It also suggests that inclines should be built out of waste slate.  Hard to image the landscape of the area without these huge slate heaps that we are by now so familiar with.
